GLORY DAYS PART 2

Happy Hump Day my friends!!! :) I still can't get over how much fun I had the other day at Catalog Connection! So thankful to the manager who let me come do a photo shoot there for the day! It was so much fun pairing jewelry, shoes, tops, etc together to make the most fabulous outfits to share with you guys!

Outfit #1: 

This waffle tee is my absolute fave! It is so incredibly comfy and makes for the perfect casual top! Top is $30.95 and worth every penny!!! Perfect for hot summer days when paired with denim shorts, or perfect for fall days paired with skinnies and booties!!! These denim shorts are my go to! I wear them all the time... probably too much! But hey, they are cute and comfy so why not?! By the way, they are on sale for $24.50! Such a great item to add to your wardrobe!!! Another great item to add to your wardrobe are the gladiator sandals. These gladiator sandals are so amazing!!! I wear them so much, and love how comfy they are. Before I ordered them, I was worried they would feel tight on my feet and not feel comfy, but boy was I wrong! So glad I went with my gut, and ordered these beauties because not only have they been perfect this summer, they are going to be perfect for fall! Did ya'll see the necklace?!! The necklace is one of my favorite parts about this outfit!!! I love anything by Betsy Pittard Designs! If I could buy it all, I would!!! The necklaces are such great quality and so beautiful in person!!! I am obsessed with my new purchase, and plan on wearing this necklace on repeat!!! This fabulous floral set is less than $50 and is so much fun! I have had an obsession with sets this summer, and I'm looking forward to carrying sets into the fall! I paired this set with booties to show how it could be worn in the fall! The Sheila Fajl cuffs are just so beautiful in their simplicity!!! With a busy floral set like this, the simplicity of those bangles pair perfectly with it! So sorry that you've seen my booties on mad repeat lately, but I'm so obsessed with them! They are under $100 and go with absolutely everything, and I mean everything! I will also admit they are the only booties I brought home with me for the summer... but thats because they are my FAVE!!!

This dress is so gorgeous!!! I love everything about it, especially the print! Love the blue and pink mixed together, gives this dress such a feminine vibe!!! This dress is $42.95 and just waiting to jump into your wardrobe! Another great dress to take from summer to fall! How about that necklace though?!! I mean can you say FABULOUS! This necklace is by Chesterton Jewelry; which is a local jewelry maker out of Greenville, NC! I'm all about supporting local artist, and this one makes it so easy to support, because her pieces are just so fantastic... not to mention priced extremely well! Outfit #4: 

GO PIRATES!!! I couldn't come to Greenville and not purchase purple and gold attire! I instantly fell in love with this yellow OTS top!!! It is so lightweight and will be perfect for those early football games, when it's still blazing hot! I paired it with my fave denim shorts I mentioned above to give this outfit a relaxed, casual look! I don't know about you, but I want to be comfy when I'm watching some football!!! The purple Chesterton Jewelry necklace is to die for!!! (I purchased this one) :) Guilty!!! I thought it gave the finishing touches to my game day apparel! I can't wait to wear it to the ECU vs. NC State game and watch the Pirates WIN!!!! Last but not least, the purple shades!!! Aren't they so fantastic! Guess what?! They are less than $10! Talk about the perfect shades to sport at the ECU game! I mean purple lenses, no brainer!!!

GLORY DAYS

I had the best time the other day visiting one of my favorite boutiques from college! If you haven't gotten the chance to read my bio, I'll give you just a little background!!! I attended East Carolina University, and I got my degree in fashion merchandising! I loved every minute of college, and definitely miss those days. Downtown Greenville was always a spot I loved to be!!! My bestie and I would eat Sup Dogs every day (well almost every day) and then normally walk across the street to Catalog Connection! Catalog was in walking distance from campus, so let's just say I did a lot of shopping there when I was in school! I could always find the perfect football game attire at Catalog! This dress gives me mad heart eyes!!! I mean how perfect would this dress be for a date night or girls night out?! I love the way the dress falls, the sides are shorter than the front and back giving off such a fun vibe! This amazing dress is less than $50!!! It can be worn now on hot summer days with some wedges and also worn in the fall with the booties pictured above and a long flowy cardigan. The gorgeous purple bangle is only $10! I have an obsession with rompers! They are just so easy to throw on and walk out the door. This romper is so bright and fun, and can be worn now with some cute wedges or sandals or be worn in the fall with the booties pictured above! Perfect transition piece with lots of fun color. Weekend Recap: Hate that the weekend is already over!!! I had the most relaxing weekend with one of my sorority sisters! We went to the beach house and just floated around in the sound!!! After laying out all day long, we decided to just put on pj's and watch Netflix! Definitely needed a weekend like that!!! It was the perfect weekend before a week I'm not looking forward too! I'm dedicating every day to studying for the NCLEX this week. I've been studying off and on this whole summer but haven't dedicated a whole week to it yet. It's just so hard to get back into the swing of things when it comes to studying! SO many more things I'd rather be doing. If anyone has taken the NCLEX and has any tips, I'd love to hear! I will be taking it in Dec. or Jan. and I'm kind of panicking!!! Now it's time to down 3 glasses of coffee and workout before I hit the books!!!

THE FLORAL PRINT

Hope everyone has had a fantastic week! Can't believe it's already coming to an end!!! Does anyone else think this week flew by?! I've had one of those summer colds and I have been pretty out of it this week, so perhaps that is why I feel like this week passed me by!!! It kind of looked like a lot of people were sick this week! If you were one of those peeps, I sure hope you are feeling better!!! Maybe a little floral print dress will brighten your day! :) It did mine! I told myself that I had to get out and smell the roses!!!

This little floral number is one of my favorite pieces in my summer wardrobe!!! There's something about mock neck dresses that I love! I think they are so flattering on absolutely everyone! The bright print of this mock dress is so cheerful, and super cute to wear day or night!!!

I'm a huge Belk shopper, partially because my mom loves Belk so it's a store we can shop together! I found this little number there for only $50! & of course Belk always has coupons/discounts running, so I got it marked down even more!!! I was so excited!!! THE T-SHIRT DRESS

Ya'll!!! If you don't own a t-shirt dress, I recommend investing in one! It's the perfect dress for any occasion!!! You can wear it to work with flats and then slap on some heels or wedges and head out to date night or girls night out!!!  I tend to keep a lot of color in my fall wardrobe, so this dress is going to be perfect this fall! It's such a great transition piece from summer to fall! I can't wait to throw on some booties and a blanket scarf with this dress this fall!!! Red Dress Boutique is one of my favorite places to shop! I am always ordering things online from them because their stuff is just too cute and the price is amazing!!!! CHEERFUL

Hope everyone had the most fantastic weekend!!! I spent mine with one of my besties at the beach and we just had the best time. I'm pretty sure I look like a lobster... even though I wore sunscreen the whole time! It was such a gorgeous weekend though, so no complaints here!!! Since the weekend was so sunny and bright I'm starting your week off with a cheerful post! One of my favorite brands is Trina Turk... everything is just so bright and colorful!!! The wide leg pants by Trina are so fabulous on, they're just so slenderizing!!! I have to admit: I own a few pairs because I absolutely adore them!!! Unfortunately mine are completely sold out. :( But don't you worry because I posted some of my faves down below, along with images!!! Same style pant just different fun pattern!!!
