Happy Hump Day Friends! 

I know, I know... I've been MIA! I started my job as an RN in Feb., I put the blog on hold because I wanted to get the feel of things and dedicate my time to learning and growing as a new nurse! I also got put on night shift, so it's been quite an adjustment... But I'm loving every second of being a nurse!!! :) 

At the end of the day though, fashion still has a huge part of my heart! I just love getting to share outfit ideas with you all! Blogging is my outlet!!! So I decided to kick off my coming back with a little Memorial Day post! Hope you enjoy! :)

 Memorial Day Weekend is usually spent on the water with my family and friends! It's a day for remembering the brave men and women who died serving our country!!! A huge thank you goes out to those brave men and women and to their families and friends. Let us honor them and show our support for our country, the GREAT USA by wearing RED, WHITE, & BLUE! 

My Memorial Day outfit (featured in pics above) is from Sandy Toes Boutique. It's the cutest little boutique in Surf City, NC. Now that my family's beach house is finished in South Topsail, I find myself going into Sandy Toe's quite often!!! I mean, how could I not??!!! The store is adorable!!! My top and shorts are Joy Joy brand and I'm seriously obsessed! Joy Joy clothing items hold up so well. I kid you not.... I have Joy Joy pieces in my closet from High School that I still wear! So my boots are from Payless Shoes and I am going to be real honest with ya'll..... I'm SO in LOVE with them!!!! I have literally worn them every day since I have gotten them! So grey is actually my favorite color! When I was a kid I heard "Mr. Jones" for the first time and from then on out grey has always been my favorite color! I was the kind of kid that always wanted to be different, so while most girls favorite colors were pink, blue, or green... leave it to me to be obsessed with grey! Super lame, I know!!! Haha!!! By the way "Mr. Jones" is still my all time favorite song, ask anyone I know! I could listen to it and dance to it all day/night long! But enough with that till tangent!!! I think pink pairs nicely with grey and I can not say enough GREAT things about this adorable pink coat!!! I'm seriously obsessed! My pink sherpa lined hooded coat is currently on sale for $22!!! Ps. my coat comes in a ton of different colors! Definitely one of my favorite pieces in my wardrobe!!! :)

I'm pretty obsessed with anything velvet and leather, and mixing the two together kind of makes me feel rad! :) My velvet top is from SheIn and is only $21!!! I can't remember a time I've been so obsessed with a top like I am this one! Even the color gives me mad heart eyes!!! My faux leather leggings are by Spanx and they are the perfect pants because of the tummy control! Who doesn't love tummy control?!!! These faux leather leggings definitely give me a little boost of confidence every time I wear them! This outfit is perfect for a girls night out!

FLORAL SUEDE DRESS

My floral suede dress is from Bailey Blue Clothing Boutique and it's safe to say that I'm obsessed!!! I'm wearing a size medium for size reference. This dress is perfect for NC weather, because one day it's 70 something, and the next it is snowing! There's currently still some patches of snow on the ground here... like what?!! Haha! My favorite part about wearing dresses this time of the year is getting to wear leather jackets and cozy cardigans! I mean let's be honest, who doesn't feel cool in a leather jacket?! My cozy cardigan is a closet staple item! I literally live in it! Did I mention this adorable dress is under $50!?? Can't beat that price for such an adorable, fun print, suede dress!
