THE TIE KNOT

Happy Thursday Loves!!! This week has seriously flown by - Yippie! First off, I know that I have been MIA lately in regards to blogging and I'm so sorry about that! You can read my story and why I have been MIA just below my outfit details! Now for the fun part.... How adorable is my little tie knot shirt?! The back even has a super cute criss-cross design. SCORE!!! Did I mention that it's under $10?!! I mean what a steal! It's seriously the perfect top for the in-between weather that we have been getting here in NC. My top is from SheIn, which is one of my favorite retailers (I've mentioned SheIn in previous posts as well)!!! They offer fashion-forward/adorable/super chic clothing items at an extremely affordable price! SheIn has literally been my go to lately because the price point is just out of this world!!! Not to mention, their selection of clothing items is phenomenal! If you haven't already, be sure to check them out!!!

Update: I'm excited to say that this week I finished Nursing School!!! I had to put the blog on hold because I started to feel extremely overwhelmed with school work, clinical, studying, applying for jobs, etc. My grades were starting to suffer because I was taking too much on! These past two years have been extremely hard. Nursing was nothing like Fashion Merchandising (which was what I got my degree in at East Carolina). I had to learn how to take tests differently, prioritize better, handle copious amounts of stress, and so on. I was pushed to limits I didn't even know I could be pushed to. These past two years have definitely been the hardest years of my life, but boy.... they have been so incredible! I can't begin to thank God enough for all the blessings in my life. I wouldn't of been able to get through nursing school without Him, my wonderful family, incredible boyfriend, and loving friends!!! The constant love and support everyone showed me is what kept me going! I am not going to lie.... juggling school life and social life was a tad bit difficult, but everyone was just so amazing and uplifting throughout it all! I can't forget to mention my nursing school family... The friends I have made during this whole process are friends I will have for a lifetime. So touched and incredibly thankful for each and every one that's been a part of this journey alongside me. Even though I have completed Nursing School, it's not over yet.... I have to pass the NCLEX! So I will be studying from here on out.... well until I take the exam of course! I will have more time to dedicate to the blog with studying being my only commitment as of right now!!! + once I pass the NCLEX (fingers crossed that I do) I will have tons of time to dedicate to the blog!!! I seriously can not thank you all enough for hanging in there with me throughout all of this and continuing to support me in both my dreams!!! It means the absolute world to me!!!

Happy Almost Friday - Cheers!!!
